Raphael Garios is the owner and lead commercial diver at Poseidon Boat Services. He has been performing underwater boat services in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2020. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, the city of water, Raphael grew up with passion for water sports and adventuring in the ocean depths. He is an accomplished commercial diver with over 15 years of specialized experience in underwater vessel care. He holds formal certifications from Brazil’s leading maritime and industrial institutions, including Divers University and Firjan SENAI, both accredited by the Brazilian Navy. His specialized training encompasses commercial shallow diving, underwater cutting and welding, and subsea installation assembly and maintenance. Additionally, he is qualified in electrochemical measurement for underwater corrosion monitoring under ABENDI (Brazilian Association of Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection) standards, bringing rigorously tested precision and industrial safety standards to every underwater project.
